It all started the day our 5-year-old pointed to the Gurbani in the Gutka Sahib and asked:“Mama… what language is this?”

In that moment, our hearts didn't just break—they stopped.

We were raising our kids in Canada, surrounded by mountains of English toys. We searched everywhere for a simple Punjabi alphabet board, but found nothing that felt right.

Then we remembered our own childhoods. Dadi’s patient hand helping us learn on the Fatti. The smell of her cooking still on her fingers as she taught us to write our name in Punjabi.

We carved the original Fatti shape into safe, smooth beech wood. We engraved the Gurmukhi akhar (letters) on one side and the laga matra (vowels) on the other—deep enough for little fingers to follow.

• What's Not Covered: This is a toy made for play! Our warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, such as scratches, dents from being dropped, or damage from exposure to water.
  
• Our Return Policy: Due to the hands-on nature of our Fatti as a children's toy, all sales are final. For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges.
